We are scheduled to attend the East End Lighting Meet this Saturday. The Gates will open at 7:25 a.m.

The Field Events will start at 8:30am and running events will start at 9:00am. I will need to know by the end of practice tomorrow, the names of all attendees. Attached is the events and the meet schedule.

Today’s practice will be at Colonial Forge at 5:45pm.

This weekend a couple of parents expressed interest in bringing their athlete to the AAU Primary National and Club National Championships (July 5/6 Primary) (July 7-13 Club Nationals). The Top 8 Athletes Advance! This is considered a LAST CHANCE meet to Qualify for the 2019 AAU Junior Olympic Games in Greensboro, NC. If an athlete that finishes in the top 8 has already qualified, then the next athlete will be “moved up” as an AAU Junior Olympic Games qualified athlete This does not apply for Multi-Events or Relays. Please be advised, because these two meets were not on our original schedule, therefore, there may not be any coaches at those meets if you attend. Please feel free to ask me any additional questions you may have.


We will not have an organized practice. We will resume tomorrow Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Colonial Forge, VA. If you get your athlete out today, please have them do the light workout below. Please stick with this workout, because tomorrow we will resume speed work.
